Everyone is warmly welcomed. Newbies, dancers, teachers. There is something for everyone to do in the Club. We love West Coast Swing and want to share this with new comers, regular dancers, teachers of the dance.
The History of West Coast Swing
West Coast Swing is danced in over 133 cities world wide. It is a popular casual style dance .
West Coast Swing is a partner dance that anyone can do. It is really fun to learn even if you have never danced before. West Coast Swing is popular with both males and females and is a great way to meet new people and make new friends. West Coast Swing can be traced back to the 1940’s and the Lindy Hop but has been bought up to date by the fact that it is able to be danced to the latest music including Top 40, RNB, Hip-hop and Disco. People of all ages can enjoy West Coast Swing. Originally danced in the USA (it is the state dance of California) it is now growing in popularity in Europe, Asia and is becoming hugely popular here in Australia.
